Market Research & Category Sizing: - Conduct in-depth market analysis to estimate category size, growth potential, and competitor share. - Leverage shopper insights, retail audits, and syndicated data to guide category strategies. Market Share Growth: - Design and execute shopper marketing programs to drive brand visibility and conversion at retail touchpoints. - Collaborate with sales teams to implement execution plans across modern trade, general trade, and e-commerce channels. Category Opportunity: - Identification Identify high-potential sub-categories, consumption trends, and whitespace opportunities. - Develop recommendations for product portfolio expansion and targeting strategies. - Driving NPD Sales Support the launch of new products through market activation plans. - Monitor post-launch performance and optimize based on customer and retailer feedback. Skills & Competencies: - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and data analytics tools (Nielsen, Kantar, etc., preferred). - Ability to interpret market and consumer data to develop actionable plans. - Excellent communication and presentation skills. - Strong cross-functional collaboration mindset. Qualifications: - Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field MBA from Tier 1 B-schools preferred 2+ years of relevant experience in shopper marketing, trade marketing, or category management in FMCG/CPG industry. Key Responsibilities: Brand Building & Positioning: - Work closely with the marketing head to define and execute brand positioning and messaging. - Develop brand storytelling and ensure consistent tone, visuals, and narrative across channels. - Plan and execute brand awareness campaigns to drive recall and preference. Category & Channel Marketing: - Identify growth opportunities within product categories and create targeted marketing plans. - Partner with sales and product teams to create campaigns that drive category adoption and usage. - Execute channel-specific marketing strategies (offline retail, e-commerce, marketplaces, D2C). Advertising & Creative Development: - Brief agencies on campaign requirements, ensuring alignment with brand strategy. - Collaborate on creative concepts, ensuring content is impactful, customer-focused, and high-performing. - Review ad performance data to iterate creatives for better CTR, engagement, and conversions. Agency & Vendor Management: - Manage day-to-day relationships with creative, media, and digital agencies. - Ensure timely delivery of campaigns and creative assets. - Evaluate agency performance and recommend improvements. Customer Reach & Engagement: - Drive strategies to expand brand reach to new audiences while retaining existing customers. - Leverage digital channels (Meta, Google, Influencers, Content Marketing) to grow audience base. - Implement customer engagement programs to improve retention and advocacy. Skills & Competencies Required: - Brand Marketing: Strong grasp of brand building fundamentals and positioning. - Digital Marketing: Knowledge of performance marketing, SEO, and social media strategy. - Creative Judgment: Ability to evaluate and guide impactful creatives. - Analytical Mindset: Proficiency in reading campaign metrics and making data-driven decisions. - Communication & Collaboration: Strong presentation and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams.
