SAP CO Consultant

Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Controlling (CO) Consultant with strong expertise in CO and PS (Project Systems) and full life-cycle implementation experience.

The consultant will be responsible for delivering end-to-end SAP CO solutions in a multi-country environment for the AMEA region, collaborating closely with global teams, IS services, and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver end-to-end process coverage for SAP CO and PS solutions across multiple countries in the AMEA region.

- Collaborate with ERP and non-ERP functions to provide high-value, integrated solutions.

- Engage in requirement gathering, analysis, and validation to determine use of standard functionality, required enhancements, or workarounds.

- Prepare functional specifications, use cases, and testing plans for functional and user acceptance testing (UAT).

- Support IS service management by validating and prioritizing incoming business demand in collaboration with Global Solution Architects.

- Maintain SAP documentation, functional designs, and ensure solutions are properly tested before deployment.

- Support incident, problem, and change management to reduce ticket volume and recurring issues.

- Participate in projects, providing consulting, advice, and support for new solutions or changes to existing ones.

- Ensure compliance with release management timelines for change requests.

- Conduct knowledge sharing and training: create training materials, user guides, and deliver SAP training to key users.

- Keep knowledge up-to-date with SAP best practices, emerging technologies, and industry trends.

- Proactively resolve project-related issues to avoid delays and ensure successful delivery.

Required Skills & Experience:

- Education: CA, CWA, B.Com, MBA (Finance) or equivalent.

- Experience: 6-8+ years of SAP CO experience with working knowledge of SAP PS.

- Multiple full life-cycle implementations in CO and PS modules.

- Strong understanding of integration points between CO, PS, and other SAP modules.

Expertise in:

- Overhead Costing.

- Cost Object Controlling.

- Product Costing (MTO, MTS, ETO scenarios).

- COPA (Profitability Analysis).

- Customer Projects (PS scenarios).

- In-depth knowledge of Results Analysis (RA).

Good to have:

- Material Ledger & Actual Costing.

- Transfer Pricing.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

- Excellent stakeholder management and ability to work in cross-functional, global, and virtual teams.

- Proficiency in MS Office and SAP documentation tools.

- Strong communication skills in spoken and written English.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Chartered Accountant (CA), Cost and Works Accountant (CWA), B.com, or MBA (Finance).
