Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Zonal Sales Manager to oversee and lead sales operations within a designated geographical zone.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing sales teams, and building strong customer relationships to achieve business targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans for the assigned zone to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze market trends, and identify new business opportunities within the zone.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and channel partners.
- Coordinate with marketing and product teams to ensure alignment of sales efforts with company objectives.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Resolve customer issues and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager, preferably as a Zonal or Regional Sales Manager
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of sales principles and customer relationship management.
- Ability to analyze data and market trends to make informed decisions.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned zone
