Job Roles & Responsibilities:

- Legal Portfolio Oversight: Manage and supervise the legal aspects of all products offered by KMPL, ensuring compliance and effective legal handling across the organization.

- Litigation Oversight: Handle a wide variety of legal cases, including civil, criminal, and commercial matters, ensuring thorough representation and resolution on behalf of the company.

- Drafting and Legal Representation: Draft clear and legally sound responses and represent the company in various legal proceedings, ensuring adherence to legal requirements and protecting the organization's interests.

- Expertise in SARFAESI Act: Possess in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with the SARFAESI Act, 2002, and independently manage related proceedings and actions.

- Specialized Legal Case Management: Oversee complex legal cases, such as those related to mortgage fraud, criminal issues, and other specialized legal matters, maintaining effective communication and collaboration with relevant authorities.

- Team Leadership and Management: Display strong leadership skills in leading and managing a team of 12-15 legal professionals, promoting a collaborative, high-performing work environment.

- Collaboration with Collections and Recovery: Work closely with the collections and recovery team, offering legal guidance and support to streamline and enhance the recovery process across various products and portfolios.

- Understanding of Legal Systems: Have a deep understanding of NBFC systems and processes, utilizing technological tools to improve legal operations and efficiency.

- Business Legal Knowledge: Possess a solid understanding of mortgage underwriting and the due diligence process to offer sound legal advice in business operations, particularly concerning mortgages.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Graduate with relevant Experience: Candidates must have a minimum of 15 years of comprehensive experience in legal management, with a strong focus on recovery and litigation handling within the banking/ Financial sector.
