Zonal Head
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Execution:
- Identify growth opportunities and create plans to capitalize on them.
Sales & Business Development:
- Drive merchant onboarding and activation across key categories (retail, F&B, services, etc.).
- Ensure achievement of KPIs such as GMV, transactions, and merchant retention.
Team Leadership & Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of city leads, area sales managers, and field sales executives.
- Set clear objectives, provide regular feedback, and foster a high-performance culture.
Market Development:
- Understand market dynamics and local challenges; adapt business plans accordingly.
- Conduct competitor analysis and maintain strong market intelligence.
Stakeholder Management:
- Work closely with internal teams (Product, Operations, Marketing, etc.) to ensure smooth execution.
- Build strong relationships with external partners, merchants, and influencers in the region.
Compliance & Governance:
- Ensure all sales practices adhere to company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards.
- Monitor performance and conduct regular audits and reviews.
