Currently we are hiring for a leading telecom for dynamic and result-oriented women leaders for the position of Zonal Business Manager in Mass Retail (Prepaid SIM) business. Purpose of the Role
Take charge of an entire zone, manage a large team of ZSMs and TSMs, and drive customer acquisition, revenue growth, and market share through operational excellence in channel management, market expansion, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute zonal sales and distribution strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets.
- Drive gross additions, high-quality sales metrics, base management, and regulatory compliance in customer acquisition.
- Manage distribution portfolio including higher denomination recharges and digital products.
- Monitor and enhance distribution health to ensure width and depth of market coverage.
- Mentor and develop sales teams, enhancing competence and productivity.
- Drive cross-functional planning and reviews to deliver Revenue Earning Customers and net revenue.
- Coordinate with network teams to ensure seamless customer connectivity.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of sales channels and distribution management.
- Proven leadership in managing large, diverse teams (direct/indirect, on-roll/off-roll).
- Excellence in execution, collaboration, and influencing skills.
- Entrepreneurial, consultative, and result-driven approach.
Qualifications & Experience
- MBA/PGDBM from Tier-1 or reputed B-School.
- 712 years of experience in channel sales, distribution handling, general trade, and revenue generation.
- Minimum 5 years in telecom/FMCG/consumer durables.
- Team handling experience (must specify team size).
