Role Description:
The Zonal Business Head (Strategic Accounts) will be responsible for overseeing the management, growth, and development of key strategic accounts within a specific zone. The role requires the ability to develop long-term relationships, create tailored solutions, and ensure the delivery of exceptional value to our top-tier clients. The Regional Head will also lead the regional sales teams to achieve revenue targets, drive customer satisfaction, and enhance the company's presence in the strategic accounts segment.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Account Management:
- Lead and manage the development of strategic accounts across the assigned zone.
- Develop and implement strategic account plans, identifying growth opportunities and solutions tailored to clients' business needs.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within strategic accounts.
- Ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction by anticipating needs, addressing concerns, and consistently exceeding client expectations.
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Drive the execution of regional sales strategies and contribute to the development of sales plans.
- Meet or exceed the assigned sales targets for strategic accounts.
- Identify and capture new business opportunities within existing accounts, as well as develop new accounts within the zone.
- Work closely with internal teams (e.g., marketing, product management, and customer service) to ensure the successful delivery of solutions.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead and mentor a team of account managers, sales professionals, and other related roles within the zone.
- Ensure effective coordination among team members to meet individual and team objectives.
- Provide guidance, support, and training to help the team members achieve sales goals and develop professionally.
- Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and results-driven culture within the team.
Market Analysis & Reporting:
- Conduct regular market and competitor analysis to identify trends, customer preferences, and potential threats.
- Prepare and deliver sales forecasts, reports, and insights to senior management.
- Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for strategic accounts to ensure business growth and profitability.
Customer Relationship & Negotiations:
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service-level agreements (SLAs) with strategic accounts.
- Ensure a proactive approach to client relationship management, focusing on long-term partnerships.
- Represent the company at client meetings, industry events, and conferences.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns for strategic accounts.
- Work with the product development teams to understand product offerings and customize solutions to meet the unique needs of strategic clients.
- Coordinate with the customer support team to ensure smooth post-sales support for strategic accounts.
