Job Title: Senior Manager / Associate Director of Finance

Department: Finance

Reports To: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Location: Bangalore

Summary:

We are seeking a highly analytical and experienced Finance professional to lead our finance department and oversee all financial planning, accounting, and reporting activities.The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, a strong communicator, and a proven leader with a deep understanding of financial principles and best practices.

Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis:

- Develop and implement financial plans, budgets, and forecasts.

- Conduct financial analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings, investment, and financial optimization.

- Monitor key financial performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports to the CFO and executive team.

Accounting & Reporting:

- Oversee the accounting function, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP).

- Prepare and present financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.

- Manage the company's financial records and ensure timely and accurate reporting.

Financial Operations:

- Manage cash flow, working capital, and debt.

- Oversee the company's treasury functions, including banking and investments.

- Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and other financial institutions.

Leadership & Team Management:

- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.

- Set performance goals and conduct regular performance reviews.

- Foster a collaborative and high-performing finance team environment.

Strategic Financial Advice:

- Provide financial advice to the CFO and executive team on strategic decisions.

- Participate in business planning and strategy development.

- Identify and assess potential financial risks and opportunities.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field + Qualified Charted Accountant

Experience:

- At least 5 years in a leadership role.

Certifications:

- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred.

Skills:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

- Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.

- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.

- Experience with financial software and systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
