Regional Sales Manager Job Description:
Areas: Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh and Gujarat
Location: Work from home
- Identify and target new sales opportunities within the steel industry.
- Currently working closely with steel industry. Mining, cement
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at steel plants.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of refractory wrecking equipment and its applications.
- Provide technical presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to understand product specifications and capabilities.
- Address customer inquiries and technical issues related to product performance and maintenance.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing timely and effective support.
- Gather customer feedback to inform product development and improvement initiatives.
- Travel extensively to client sites, trade shows, and industry events as required.
- Adapt to varying travel schedules and manage time effectively to maximize productivity.
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to management.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and client interactions in CRM software.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in engineering, Business, or a related field (masters degree is a plus).
- 7+ years of sales experience in the industrial or manufacturing sector
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events
