
Placement Deputy Team Lead
Role Overview:
We are looking for a driven and dynamic Deputy Team Lead - Placements to support and lead end-to-end placement operations, drive client engagement, manage student readiness, and deliver impactful hiring outcomes. This role requires strong communication skills, excellent data handling abilities, and a strategic approach to employer relations and student placement.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement & Onboarding:
- Identify and onboard new hiring partners aligned with the organization's programs (ACCA, CFA, etc.)
- Conduct introductory calls, pitch relevant hiring solutions (FT/Internship/HTD), and close hiring mandates
- Coordinate face-to-face meetings, webinars, and strategic discussions with HRs and stakeholders
Placement Drives & Hiring Execution:
- Plan and execute on-campus/off-campus drives, including logistics, coordination, and follow-ups
- Implement HTD (Hire-Train-Deploy) models with companies where applicable
- Ensure timely CV shortlisting, interview scheduling, and offer rollouts
Student Placement & Readiness:
- Own the end-to-end placement process for students-from application to final offer
- Track placement targets across programs and ensure timely closures
- Support training and pre-placement readiness programs (technical & soft skills)
Webinars, Trainings & Seminars:
- Organize and drive placement-focused webinars, HR-led seminars, and mock interviews
- Collaborate with the learning team to align content with current industry expectations
- Track student participation and engagement Data Management & Reporting
- Maintain accurate placement data in real time-application, conversion, and hiring status
- Prepare weekly/monthly dashboards and share insights with internal stakeholders
- Strong command over Excel, Google Sheets, and data analysis tools
- Leverage AI tools to streamline reports and outreach strategies.
Key Requirements:
- 3-6 years of experience in placements & operations
- Prior experience in EdTech, recruitment firms, or campus hiring preferred
- Strong command over MS Excel, Google Workspace, and CRM tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask, build relationships with corporates, and manage student queries
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills (Good to Have):
- Exposure to placement models like HTD
- Familiarity with AI tools for resume screening, email automation, or data visualization
- Experience in managing placement performance targets and training outcomes.
