Deputy Team Lead - Corporate Partnerships (Placements)

Role Overview:

We're looking for a dynamic B2B professional to drive Corporate Partnerships, business development, and hiring mandates for Zell Education. In this role, you will pitch talent solutions (ACCA, CFA, Finance-trained candidates), acquire new hiring partners, and ensure successful closures of recruitment drives. If you have a strong background in B2B sales, corporate relations, or recruitment solutions, this is a high-impact opportunity to grow with one of India's fastest-growing EdTechs in Finance.

Key Responsibilities:

Corporate Acquisition & Client Engagement:


- Identify, pitch, and onboard new corporates for hiring solutions (Full-time, Internship, Hire-Train-Deploy).

- Conduct B2B meetings, presentations, and solution-based sales discussions with HR Heads & CXOs.

- Build long-term partnerships to generate repeat business and strengthen corporate hiring pipelines.

Business Development & Mandate Closures:


- Own the full sales cycle: lead generation - pitching - negotiation - closure.

- Execute on-campus/off-campus hiring drives by aligning corporates with talent needs.

- Deliver monthly/quarterly targets for number of corporates onboarded and successful placements.

Talent Solution Selling:

- Position Zell's finance-trained candidates as a "talent product" for corporate hiring.

- Collaborate with internal teams to align candidate readiness with client expectations.

- Ensure timely delivery of CVs, interview schedules, and offer rollouts.

Pipeline Management & Reporting:

- Maintain a strong sales pipeline across industries (BFSI, Consulting, FinTech, etc.).

- Track KPIs like mandates closed, corporates acquired, students placed.

- Report weekly dashboards to leadership with insights and growth strategies.

What We're Looking For:

- 3-6 years of experience in B2B Sales / Corporate Relations / Recruitment Sales / Campus Hiring Solutions.

- Proven track record of client acquisition & closures in EdTech, HR Consulting, Recruitment, or Training Solutions.

- Strong networking skills with the ability to engage CXOs, HR Heads, and decision-makers.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

- Data-driven mindset to manage pipelines, targets, and reporting.

Good to Have:

- Experience selling recruitment or training solutions (B2B HR products).

- Exposure to BFSI, Consulting, and FinTech hiring.

- Understanding of Hire-Train-Deploy models.
