About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to support our performance marketing and retention teams through data-driven insights and advanced analytics. This role requires a deep understanding of marketing performance, customer life cycles, and consumer behavior. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in analyzing large datasets, building predictive models, and collaborating cross-functionally to support marketing strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Analyze large datasets to derive actionable business insights.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Conduct A/B testing and statistical analysis to support data-driven decisions.
Campaign Performance Optimization:
- Evaluate the effectiveness of integrated marketing campaigns, including digital advertising, email marketing, content marketing, and product launches.
- Recommend data-driven optimizations to increase user acquisition, retention, and engagement.
Predictive Analytics & Forecasting:
- Build predictive models to forecast campaign performance and customer behavior.
- Develop marketing attribution models to analyze the impact of various channels on product sales and revenue generation.
Market Research & Competitive Analysis:
- Perform in-depth competitive analysis to identify market trends and opportunities.
- Conduct data-driven market research to understand customer preferences and competitive positioning.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with product, marketing, and business intelligence teams to provide data-backed insights.
- Collaborate on go-to-market strategies, ensuring initiatives are supported by robust data analysis.
Required Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Preferably from prestigious institutions such as IIT, NIT, or Tier 1 colleges.
Experience:
- 3+ years in a data analysis role, preferably within marketing or product marketing teams.
- Proven experience in working with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, product management, and engineering.
Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, Pardot).
- Hands-on experience with digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads) to track and optimize campaign performance.
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:
- Strong understanding of product marketing metrics, customer behavior analytics, and marketing ROI.
- Ability to create predictive models for forecasting campaign performance and customer lifetime value.
- Skilled in identifying actionable insights from complex datasets and presenting them clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Market Research Skills:
- Ability to synthesize market research, customer feedback, and competitive analysis into meaningful data insights.
- Experience in using data to influence product strategy and positioning.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with machine learning techniques and tools for advanced data analysis.
- Experience working in fast-paced, data-driven environments (e.g., SaaS, e-commerce, or technology sectors).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly and persuasively at an executive level.
