Role Overview:


As a Mansger in Last Mile Operations at Xindus, you will be responsible for driving the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of our last mile delivery network.


You will lead operational initiatives, collaborate cross-functionally with logistics partners and internal teams, and implement continuous improvement programs to enhance customer experience and operational excellence.

This role demands a high level of ownership, strategic thinking, and hands-on execution ability.

Responsibilities:

Operational Management:

- Lead and oversee daily last mile delivery operations, ensuring timely, accurate, and cost-efficient deliveries.

- Build, manage, and strengthen relationships with last mile delivery partners to ensure seamless coordination and service excellence.

- Negotiate service level agreements (SLAs) and regularly review partner performance to ensure alignment with Xindus standards.

- Proactively identify operational risks and swiftly resolve disruptions in collaboration with partners and internal teams.

Performance Monitoring and Analysis:

- Track, analyze, and report on key last mile KPIs including on-time delivery, first attempt delivery rate, customer satisfaction, and cost metrics.

- Present insights and improvement recommendations to leadership on a regular basis.

Process Optimization and Strategic Initiatives:

- Identify bottlenecks and design process improvement plans for scalability and efficiency.

- Work collaboratively with last mile partners to pilot and implement new delivery models and service enhancements.

- Implement best-in-class practices and technology-driven solutions for faster and more reliable deliveries.

Technology Integration and Enablement:

- Collaborate with the tech team and logistics partners to integrate tools that improve routing, visibility, and customer communication.

- Drive adoption and effective usage of new systems among internal and external stakeholders.

Customer Experience Management:

- Partner with the customer service team to quickly address delivery-related issues and drive faster resolution with last mile partners.

- Define and implement strategies to elevate the last mile customer experience.

Compliance, Safety, and Vendor Management:

- Ensure all last mile activities comply with local regulations, safety guidelines, and service standards.

- Manage, audit, and provide feedback to last mile vendors to maintain service quality and compliance.

Qualifications :


- Education Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. (Masters degree preferred but not mandatory.)

Experience :

- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in last mile logistics, supply chain management, or operations leadership.

- Hands-on experience in scaling logistics operations in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.

- Experience in managing third-party logistics providers (3PL) is highly desirable.

Skills :

- Strong data analysis and problem-solving capabilities.

- Expertise in logistics management systems and operational software.

- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
