
Location: Prayagraj
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess loan applications to determine customer creditworthiness and repayment ability.
- Analyze financial documents, income proofs, credit bureau reports, and property papers to make accurate lending decisions.
- Approve or recommend loan applications in accordance with credit policies, risk frameworks, and regulatory guidelines.
- Monitor Post-Disbursement Documents (PDDs) to ensure timely submission and compliance.
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and legal teams to ensure smooth loan processing and disbursal.
- Identify potential risks or red flags and escalate cases to senior management as necessary.
- Ensure adherence to internal credit procedures and external statutory requirements.
- Provide guidance and training to branch staff on credit processes and compliance requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality, accuracy, and integrity in all credit-related dealings.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of credit appraisal, underwriting processes, and risk assessment.
- Proficiency in analyzing financial statements and property documentation.
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills under deadlines.
- Good knowledge of housing finance, mortgage products, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools, credit scoring systems, and CRM software.
- High ethical standards and attention to detail.
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- MBA/PGDM in Finance or professional certifications in credit/risk management will be an added advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum of 35 years of experience in credit appraisal, underwriting, or risk management, preferably within banking, housing finance, or NBFC sectors.
- Experience in home loan or mortgage credit evaluation is highly desirable.
