Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive US sales strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
- Identify and analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to optimize sales strategies.
- Define and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to track sales performance and ensure achievement of revenue targets.
- Provide strategic guidance and direction to the sales team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Sales Team Management:
- Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team, including regional sales managers, account executives, and sales development representatives.
- Set clear sales targets and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure team members achieve their goals.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.
- Manage sales team performance, conduct regular performance reviews, and implement performance improvement plans as needed.
Sales Execution:
- Lead the development and execution of sales campaigns and initiatives to generate leads and drive revenue growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners.
- Oversee the sales pipeline and ensure accurate forecasting of sales revenue.
- Negotiate and close complex sales deals, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement sales processes, methodologies, and tools to optimize sales efficiency and effectiveness.
- Work closely with marketing and product teams to align sales and marketing efforts and ensure product offerings meet customer needs.
Market Expansion:
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities and customer segments within the US.
- Develop and implement strategies to expand the company's market share and brand recognition in the US.
- Establish and maintain a strong network of industry contacts and partners.
- Travel within the US as needed to meet with customers, attend industry events, and support sales team activities.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
- Analyze sales data and trends to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales performance.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
Qualifications:
- Degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 15-20 years of progressive sales experience, with a significant focus on the US market.
- Proven track record of success in leading and managing high-performing sales teams.
- Strong understanding of US sales practices, market dynamics, and customer behavior.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Established network of contacts within the US market.
