Vice President - Volcker/Dodd-Frank Compliance Advisor - Bank

We are seeking a seasoned Compliance Advisor to support regulatory compliance initiatives related to the Volcker Rule and the Global FX Code. The role involves advising the first line of defense on regulatory matters, supporting the development of second-line compliance programs, and serving as a subject matter expert in FX and Volcker-related activities across the business unit.

Key Responsibilities:

Regulatory Advisory & Program Development

- Provide expert guidance on regulatory requirements, emerging risks, and interpretation of the Volcker Rule and Global FX Code.

- Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of compliance program documents (policies, procedures, training materials, and reports).

- Monitor and analyze regulatory changes and industry best practices to support evolving business needs.

- Prepare and present regular compliance reports, risk trends, and strategic insights for leadership and regulatory bodies.

- Act as liaison with auditors, regulators, and corporate/legal teams during assessments, examinations, or special projects.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 12+ years of experience in Compliance, Risk, Audit, or related fields.

- Proven experience in Foreign Exchange (FX) compliance, Volcker Rule advisory, and institutional sales/trading business practices.

- Strong understanding of FX Global Code, Federal Reserve Notice 13-24, and applicable control frameworks.

- Prior exposure to regulatory interactions and compliance transformation programs.

- Familiarity with U.S. and global regulatory landscapes governing financial institutions and FX trading.
