About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of People Practice to join the leadership team of a fast-growing, profitable, multi-brand consumer tech company. This is a pivotal role for someone who thrives in high-growth environments, is comfortable working closely with founders and investors, and can design and execute scalable people practices that enable both speed and sustainability.

The role will be responsible for shaping the people strategy, building robust systems and processes, and driving a culture of performance, accountability, and wellness across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

- Partner with founders, investors, and senior leadership to align people strategy with business growth goals

- Build a strong HR function capable of supporting scale: org design, talent management, performance systems, and culture.

- Act as a trusted advisor and challenger to founders providing strategic input while being assertive and direct when needed.

Talent & Organization Building

- Drive leadership hiring, succession planning, and internal talent pipelines.

- Implement systems for capability development and managerial effectiveness.

Culture & Engagement

- Shape a high-energy, performance-driven culture while maintaining wellness and inclusivity.

- Build strong engagement frameworks for employees, doctors, customer support, and warehouse teams.

- Establish rituals and programs that strengthen belonging across distributed teams.

HR Operations & Governance

- Design and institutionalize people policies, performance management, and rewards frameworks.

- Build scalable HR processes that balance agility with compliance.

- Lead employee relations with fairness and transparency.

What Were Looking For

Experience: 1218 years in HR, with leadership roles in high-growth consumer, internet, or new-age businesses. Exposure to scaling organizations from 300+ to 1,000+ people preferred.

Leadership Style: High energy, strong emotional intelligence, and the ability to influence, push back, and engage with strong-willed founders and stakeholders.

Competencies:

- Hustler mindset with strategic clarity.

- Proven ability to design and implement scalable people processes.

- Assertive, decisive, and resilient able to handle ambiguity and conflict with grace.

- Strong business orientation with comfort in working with investors and boards.
