Details about the role.

Brief Overview-

-Support the Management in setting the company's strategic plan for growth and
business objectives, and preparation of the company's annual and long-term financial
strategies.

- He would drive and lead the overall finance functions and provide strategic advice for
taking key decisions regarding Finance, Accounting, Compliances, Planning, Business
Strategy, and Cashflow.

- He would provide insights to take key business decisions, backed by financial
analytics.

- The Company requires a seasoned professional with experience in ERP (pref. SAP).
This is an extremely vital role that would be responsible for tracking and analysing
financial information to ensure that the organization takes decisions that are aligned to
its vision.

Key Areas of Responsibilities:

- Finance: Develop efficient plan to fund companies current and future growth.
Maintain good relationship with Banks and Financial institution. Lead fund raising
activities.

- Financial Reporting: Guide and drive the finance team with respect to budgeting,
financial analysis and management reporting. As the VP Finance, the candidate will be
required to work closely with the business and functional heads with respect to various
operating financials, cost optimization, budgets and inputs from a commercial point of
view.

- As part of the leadership team of the company, participate in the key strategic decision-
making process and enhance the quality of decisions by highlighting financial
implications of decisions.

- Uphold the financial health and integrity of the company. Steward the organization to
optimize the financial resources of the organization most effectively.

- Timely and accurate periodical Management Reporting and analysis. Financial
Analysis and Risk Management

- Business Plans: Develop long term and short term financial plans in discussion with
management. Preparation of Budgets, Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Reports and Annual
review of financial performance. Track and work with various stakeholders to achieve
agreed targets.

- Accounts :Have an oversight on the overall accounting function of the company.
Implement Manage an d Maintain Accounting Financial Controls organization wide.

- Costing: Be involved with detailed product costing, with an aim to improve margins.
Work closely with the production and other teams to optimise cost to achieve overall
business goals

- Compliance: Verifying Compliance with financial statutory norms, internal processes,
procedures and controls based on State and Central Govt requirements. Be responsible
for all compliances

- Direct Taxes, Indirect Taxes, Company Law, and all others.

- Assessment of risks and devise Mitigation plans for the same.

- Working capital management : To have an oversight on the cash flows of the business,
keep a close watch on the receivables, inventory and plan well to ensure business
operations run smoothly.

- Systems and Processes: Ensuring the adequacy of Information Technology and
Communication Systems with respect to company's assets. Implementing Internal
Controls and checks for payment mechanism, thereby supporting management achieve
its business objectives. Need to lead and improvise various systems and processes,
with a view to strengthening those in line with best practices.

- Effectively and efficiently manage company's Foreign Exchange.

- Audits: Work closely with internal and external auditors. Supervising Internal and
external audits and collating the results thereof. Work constructively towards addressing
issues and gaps identified by the auditors.

- Team Building: Be a team player, and to continuously work towards developing skills of
all the team members with a view to increasing productivity on a continuous basis.

- Reporting all kinds of findings to the MD/Management/Board of Directors

Requirements & Qualification:

Qualification: Preferred Chartered Accountant

Experience:

- Around 15+ years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

- Should have hired and mentored a team for at least 7 years

- Extensive stakeholder management experience

- Strong Commercial acumen

- Strategic capability in planning and execution

- Strategic mind set and exposure to analytical decision-making processes.

- Cross-functional collaboration

- Ability to take responsibility and ownership
