Job Summary:
The Vice President of R&D leads drug discovery, development, and innovation strategies to advance the pharmaceutical pipeline. This role drives scientific excellence, regulatory alignment, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver breakthrough therapies and accelerate time-to-market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end R&D activities including discovery, preclinical, and clinical development.
- Develop and execute R&D strategies aligned with therapeutic and business goals.
- Ensure compliance with global regulatory and quality standards (e.g., FDA, EMA).
- Lead cross-functional teams of scientists, clinicians, and regulatory experts.
- Foster innovation, external partnerships, and intellectual property generation.
Qualifications:
- PhD/MD in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or related field.
- 12+ years in pharmaceutical R&D with leadership experience.
- Proven track record in drug development and regulatory submissions.
- Strong understanding of GMP, GLP, and ICH guidelines.
- Excellent leadership, strategic, and communication skills.
