Vice President - Product - Payments - IIM/ISB/MDI/FMS

We are seeking an experienced VP - Product (Payments) to lead our fintech product initiatives from scratch.

This role requires a strategic leader with deep expertise in payments, business growth, and P&L ownership.

The position is based in Bengaluru or Mumbai and is open only to candidates with an MBA from a Tier 1 college.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Drive business growth and take ownership of P&L for the payments domain.

- Develop and execute a comprehensive payments roadmap, including UPI, IMPS, NEFT, RTGS, and card payments, to enhance user engagement on the app.

- Build an ecosystem to drive UPI adoption through cashback and rewards programs.

- Establish and manage large-scale merchant partnerships to drive UPI transaction volumes.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards related to payments.

- Collaborate closely with NPCI to integrate future products into the payments roadmap for experimentation and scale.

Skills and Qualifications Required:

- 10-12 years of experience in the payments domain.

- Proven track record of driving business growth and P&L ownership.

- 3-5 years of experience leading UPI payments products.

- Experience in managing and closing large-scale merchant partnerships.

- MBA from a Tier 1 college.

- Strong problem-solving skills, entrepreneurial mindset, and a self-driven approach.

- A "Bring It On" attitude with a bias for action and end-to-end ownership
