Vice President - Procurement

Key Responsibilities:

1. Procurement Strategy & Planning

- Own end-to-end procurement across fresh produce, packaging, and critical consumables

- Develop long-term sourcing and vendor strategies aligned to cost, quality, and scale objectives

- Build forecasting and inventory planning processes that support 5x+ volume growth

2. Vendor Development & Governance

- Identify, evaluate, and manage a diverse supplier network across geographies

- Establish strong governance for vendor onboarding, contract compliance, and performance monitoring

- Drive cost optimization and margin improvements through strategic negotiations and vendor development

3. Tech-Enabled Procurement & Data Analytics

- Collaborate with Product and Tech teams to deploy real-time dashboards, pricing models, and procurement automation

- Track procurement KPIs, pricing trends, and wastage reduction metrics for leadership visibility

4. Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Alignment

- Mentor and scale a high-performing procurement, planning, and quality team

- Work closely with Ops, Category, and Supply Chain to ensure demand planning accuracy and supply continuity

Who You Are:

-12-15+ years in procurement or sourcing, preferably in agri, food, FMCG, or high-volume supply chains

- Proven success in building procurement processes for fast-scaling businesses

- Strong commercial acumen and data-driven negotiation skills

- Deep understanding of vendor ecosystems, pricing volatility, and risk management

- First-principles thinker with a builder's mindset and hands-on leadership
