About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Vice President of Insurance to lead and expand our digital insurance business. This pivotal role requires a strategic leader with a strong understanding of the insurance industry, particularly within the digital space. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of driving P&L growth, building high-performing teams, and leveraging technology to innovate and optimize business operations.

Responsibilities:

P&L Management:

- Take full ownership and accountability for the P&L of the insurance business unit.

- Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.

- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.

- Manage budgets and ensure efficient resource allocation.

Strategic Leadership:

- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth and market expansion.

- Identify and capitalize on emerging trends and opportunities in the digital insurance landscape.

- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Team Leadership:

- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team.

- Set clear goals and expectations, and provide regular feedback and coaching.

- Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Digital Insurance Expertise:

- Leverage digital technologies to enhance customer experience, streamline operations, and drive sales.

- Develop and implement digital marketing and sales strategies.

- Stay abreast of the latest digital trends and technologies in the insurance industry.

Partnership and Relationship Management:

- Build and maintain relationships with key partners and stakeholders.

- Negotiate and manage contracts and agreements.

- Represent the company at industry events and conferences.

Qualifications:

- Education: Strong educational pedigree from a recognized institution.

- Experience: 10+ years of experience in the insurance industry.

- 2-3 years of specific experience in digital insurance.

- Proven track record of P&L responsibility.

- Significant team leadership experience.

Skills:

- Strong understanding of the insurance market and industry trends.

- Expertise in digital insurance technologies and strategies.

- Excellent financial acumen and analytical skills.

- Strong leadership and communication skills.

- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships.

- Industry Experience: Experience in established insurance companies.
