Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Vice President - Glass Technologist with extensive experience in the Glass Container Industry, particularly in Pharma Glass Furnace operations. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in glass manufacturing, with a deep understanding of glass composition, furnace operations, and hot repair techniques. This senior leadership role offers an exciting opportunity to drive innovation and efficiency in our production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage glass composition, furnace operations, hot repair processes, and glass production for the container industry.

- Lead the team in electric boosting, cost control, CapEx management, and ensuring optimal utilization of machinery and manpower.

- Strategize and implement techniques to maximize the efficiency of manpower and machinery.

- Drive continuous improvement in production operations, ensuring compliance with quality standards and industry regulations.

- Take charge of manpower management, addressing related issues independently and ensuring smooth operational execution.

- Provide leadership and guidance across departments to meet production targets, cost objectives, and quality goals.

- Ensure safety protocols are adhered to in all aspects of production and manufacturing.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Educational Qualification: Graduation or Diploma in Ceramic Engineering or related field.

- Experience: Minimum of 15+ years in the Glass Container Industry (with a focus on Pharma Glass Furnace operations).

- Age Limit: Not more than 55 years.

Skills and Competencies:

- Strong hands-on experience in Glass Composition, Hot Repair, and Furnace Operations.

- Expertise in Electric Boosting, Cost Control, and CapEx Management.

- Proven ability to manage manpower efficiently and address related operational issues independently.

- In-depth knowledge of the Pharma Glass Bottle manufacturing process and related technologies.

- Strategic mindset for optimizing resources and maximizing production efficiency.

- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
