Vice President - Fund Accounting - CA/CPA

Our client is a global financial services firm and hiring for seasoned professional to be part of their Asset Management function. This is a VP - Fund Accounting role with strong focus on fund accounting and reporting, covering investor, financial and regulatory aspects for funds.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

- Accomplish day to day operations of fund accounting and conduct personnel duties for team.

- Responsible for reviewing and approving financial statements and conducting variance analysis

- Calculate daily and periodic NAVs for fund in accordance with all local regulations, accepted accounting values, and local tax requirements.

- Oversee monthly and quarterly reports ensuring accuracy while managing cross liasoning with cross functional teams.

- Identify and implement corrective action plans across teams while analyzing and assessing business risk

- Serve as primary point of escalation for internal/external staff queries, and develop/manage process, productivity, and quality standards

- Communicate data needed and answer client queries.

- Develop strategic goals for the team and motivate team to achieve the goals

To be eligible for this role you will require:

- 13+ years of relevant work experience in fund accounting and asset servicing

- CA or CPA needed.

- Deep understanding of the reporting requirements under IFRS

- Excellent analytical, problem- solving and attention to detail

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
