Vice President - Finance - Startup/eCommerce

Our Client is a fast-growing startup in the ecommerce sector, backed by leading investors. We have been mandated to search for a VP of Finance & Accounts to establish strong financial controls, treasury, and taxation and fundraise and drive strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance.

- Implement and optimize financial processes, controls, and policies.

- Manage cash flow, working capital, and investor reporting.

- Ensure regulatory compliance (GAAP/IFRS, tax, audits, etc.).

- Support fundraising efforts, due diligence, and financial modeling.

- Leverage automation and ERP tools for financial efficiency.

- Collaborate with leadership on strategic decision-making.

Requirements:

- 12+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or controllership roles.

- Proven startup experience in a high-growth environment.

- Expertise in financial planning, investor relations, and automation.

- Strong knowledge of taxation, compliance, and cost control.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment and build processes from scratch.

- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

- CA, CPA, CFA, or MBA in Finance preferred.
