Position: VP - CSA

Location: Mumbai

Responsible for conceiving, managing, monitoring and ensuring the delivery of high-quality design and project execution across all projects across multiple locations within contracted timelines while adhering to all required company ESG, EHS and COBC norms, statutory compliances, reporting requirements.

Conception of Projects:

- Collaboration with RE team for land options for new site selection as per defined criteria, requirements and business priorities and cost budgeting to maximize per square feet cost

- Reviewer of CSA Design basis reports for overall project including land, base building and related fit-outs

- Knowledge of all required approvals and pre-requisites for starting construction

- Work closely with the CTO office in shortlisting, evaluating and choosing the right sets of technologies, products and solutions in line with the project requirements and companies ESG norms.

- Evaluate and implement New construction technologies to increase efficiency of Data Centers or reduce cost of per megawatt deployed capex

Managing and Monitoring all Ongoing Projects:

- Create the strategy for supporting and/or implementing large and/or complex multi-functional and/or multi-location projects.

- Overseeing the logistical requirements of a project and monitoring performance against agreed technical criteria

- Ensuring contractual obligations are fulfilled to mitigate any project impact

- Regularly review timings, budget, labour, risk and project plans to ensure work stays on track

- Site audit against contracted specifications and requirements during and before delivery

- Learning of lessons /best practices and executing in Pan India projects

Reporting:

- Reporting to board members on project progress

- CSA design peer reviewing

- Reporting any breaches of the contract terms by contractors and suppliers

Supplier, Partner and Contractor Ecosystem:

- Collaborate with Supply chain management team in building an efficient ecosystem of Supplier, partner and contractors who are aligned to company's COBC and EHS framework

- Support Technical evaluation of Bids

- Hold the ecosystem responsible for delivering as per the contractual technical, SOW, timelines and COBC requirements

Ethics and Integrity:

- Demonstrate highest level of Integrity in dealing with contractors, government officials and consultants

- Report any instances of violation in company's code of business conduct to CXO and HR

Responsibility of the Role:

- Design Review for a full turnkey Data Centre solution covering all Civil structural and architectural trades etc. based on Uptime Institute Standards (UTI) and TIA besides to all sub standards i.e. BICSI, IEC, NEC, ASHRAE, et

- In a position to manage numerous projects whether it is design or construction, responsibility is to ensure that the work is as per the international standards, best practices and in accordance with the project plan.

- Project plan assessment to assess the current situation of an existing schedule and provide a gap analysis report and solutions in order to upgrade and deliver the project as per the client requirement.

- Participation in techno- commercial discussion with the strategic sourcing team for the finalization of General contractor, equipment suppliers and project consultant.
