Reporting To Chief Compliance Officer
A. Position Purpose:
- Advisory on GIFT CITY IBU related transactions and provide guidance from IFSCA / RBI regulations perspective.
- Advisory on Trade/FEMA related transactions (especially buyers' credit and ECB) and provide resolution to queries pertaining to Trade/FEMA from IFSCA perspective.
- Provide guidance on AML/KYC matters.
- Ensure timely response from stakeholders.
- Timely response to queries received from regulators pertaining to GIFT CITY requirements.
- Coordinate with departments like Business and operations for proper implementation of regulatory requirements.
- Fostering compliance culture.
- Interaction with regulators (e.g. IFSCA, RBI) and industry bodies (e.g. IBA) on regulatory compliance matters relating to GIFT CITY IBU.
- Develop and maintain positive and professional working relationship with Business and Operations
- Conduct review of product and process to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Identification and monitoring of regulatory compliance risk.
- Review of periodic MIS/reporting required to be filed with IFSCA and ensure timely submission. timelines for regulatory reporting/requirements are adhered to.
- Assist business in getting FEMA approvals (wherever required) from RBI to execute transactions.

- Proficient in relevant regulations
- Good interpretation skills
- Providing timely advice on the transactions
2 Overall monitoring regarding GIFT CITY IBU for regulatory compliance.
- Review of periodic MIS / reporting
- Instructing GIFT CITY IBU stakeholders to implement the process and regulatory requirements.
- Highlight regulatory issues
3 Regulatory and Industry Body relationship
- Liaison with IFSCA/RBI etc. to obtain clarifications.
- Reviewing important communications from/to regulators/industry body
- Helping business obtaining regulatory approvals in reasonable time
4 Process/Product/SOP Review
- Process/Product/SOP reviews from regulatory perspective
5 Proficient in Excel and Power Point Presentations
- Helping CCO in highlighting issues to Audit Committee and Board
- High level MIS for highlighting regulatory compliances
C. Qualifications and Experience Requirement
Qualifications:
Essential Chartered Accountant / Company Secretary/Any other professional degree
Experience: Essential Total experience of more than 10 years
Out of which more than 5 years of experience in Compliance / Other Control Function
