Role Overview:
- We are seeking a seasoned analytics leader to spearhead a high-impact analytics function, managing large-scale data projects and mentoring a high-performing team.
- The Vice President - Analytics will work closely with senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders to leverage complex datasets, deliver actionable insights, and enable data-driven decision-making. This role demands a balance of strategic thinking, hands-on analytical expertise, and strong leadership capabilities to drive measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a large analytics team, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and high performance.
- Develop and execute the analytics strategy in alignment with business goals, ensuring analytics deliverables are relevant, timely, and impactful.
- Work with large, complex datasets to perform in-depth analysis, uncover trends, and identify opportunities for business growth and operational efficiency.
- Deliver actionable insights through robust data models, advanced analytics, and clear visualizations to inform senior management decisions.
- Track and measure business performance using relevant KPIs and dashboards, providing recommendations for improvement.
- Drive process optimization through automation of data collection, transformation, and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, product, and technology, to ensure analytics initiatives support overall business objectives.
- Present analytics findings to senior leadership and influence decision-making with clear, compelling data stories.
Must-Have Skills & Experience:
- 10-17 years of experience in analytics, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing large teams.
- Proficiency in SAS, SQL, and Python for data extraction, manipulation, advanced analytics, and automation.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with expertise in data visualization and BI tools.
- Proven track record of managing complex projects and delivering measurable business impact through analytics.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate at the executive level.
- Experience in the banking, financial services, or KPO/analytics industry preferred.
