About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Business Consultant with deep expertise in Trade Finance Operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in banking or banking BPO environments, with hands-on experience in key trade finance products and processes. This role requires strong functional and testing knowledge to support business transformation, process improvement, and system testing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert consulting on Trade Finance Operations including Letters of Credit (LC), Bank Guarantees, Documentary Collections, and SWIFT Payments.
- Analyze existing trade finance processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, technology teams, and external partners to design and implement effective solutions.
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Functional Testing for trade finance systems and workflows.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including business requirements, process flows, and test scenarios.
- Support change management activities by training users and ensuring smooth adoption of new processes or systems.
- Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in trade finance.
Requirements
- 5-9 years of experience in Trade Finance Operations within a bank or banking BPO environment.
In-depth knowledge of trade finance products:
- Letters of Credit (LC)
- Bank Guarantees
- Documentary Collections
- SWIFT Payments
- Strong experience with testing trade finance processes, including UAT and Functional Testing.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with relevant regulatory guidelines and compliance requirements in trade finance (preferred).
