
Role Overview:
- As a Product Owner, you will play a strategic and hands-on role in leading the definition, execution, and scaling of digital healthcare products.
- You will be responsible for aligning cross-functional engineering teams with product vision and stakeholder goals, transforming complex requirements into innovative, data-driven product experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
Product Vision & Strategy:
- Define and articulate product vision, roadmap, and strategic priorities in alignment with the organization's healthcare innovation goals.
- Collaborate with leadership, R&D, and client-facing teams to shape the future of proprietary HealthTech platforms.
Delivery Ownership:
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle of product development-from discovery and scoping through launch and iteration.
- Manage product backlogs, define user stories, and work closely with engineering, QA, and UI/UX teams in agile sprints.
Technical Leadership:
- Serve as the bridge between business requirements and technical execution, ensuring feasibility, scalability, and architectural alignment.
- Contribute to system architecture decisions and advocate for best practices across data, APIs, cloud, and DevOps.
Stakeholder & Client Engagement:
- Lead product discussions with internal teams and external stakeholders, including healthcare clients and technology partners.
- Translate client needs and market trends into actionable product features and enhancements.
Team Management & Growth:
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing product engineering team comprising developers, QA analysts, and DevOps professionals.
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Healthcare Domain Expertise
- Strong experience building or scaling B2B or B2B2C healthcare technology products (payer, provider, EHR, PBM, or analytics platforms).
- Deep understanding of US healthcare regulations (HIPAA, HL7, FHIR), workflows, and stakeholder ecosystems.
- Leadership & Execution
- MBA is required
- 8+ years of experience in product management or program leadership roles.
- Experience reporting to the CEO, founding a startup, or driving 0- 1 product innovation initiatives is highly desirable.
- Technical Acumen
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle, cloud architecture (AWS/Azure), API-first platforms, and data engineering.
- Hands-on background as a developer or architect is a plus.
- Agile Expertise
- Proven success in agile environments-experience managing Scrum teams, running sprint planning, and prioritizing technical debt.
Communication & Influence:
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to drive consensus across technical and non-technical audiences.
