Job Description:
- Advise clients on the entire range of Indian employment law, including:
- Employee lifecycle matters (recruitment, contracts, HR policies).
- Workforce restructuring, retrenchment, and employee separation.
- Grievance redressal, disciplinary action, and compliance investigations.
- Employment-related regulatory compliance (ID Act, S&E Acts, PoSH, etc.
- Labour law due diligence.
- Draft, review, and negotiate employment agreements, separation terms, non-compete clauses, and contractor arrangements.
- Monitor and advise on evolving labor codes and regulatory reforms.
- Provide internal training to client HR/legal teams on key employment law topics (e.g,PoSH, whistleblower frameworks, diversity and inclusion).
- Mentor junior team members and support practice development initiatives.
Must Have Qualifications:
- Law degree from an accredited law school.
- 5+ years of post-qualification experience in employment/labour law.
- Prior experience at a leading law firm or in-house legal team with strong employment law exposure
