Job Description:


Strategic & Operational Leadership:

- Provide strategic direction and leadership for maternal and child health services.

- Develop and implement departmental goals, budgets, and performance metrics.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Clinical Oversight & Patient Care:

- Oversee day-to-day operations of obstetrics, gynecology, neonatology, and pediatrics units.

- Ensure optimal patient care delivery and safety, with a focus on outcomes for mothers and children.

- Coordinate with clinical teams to implement evidence-based practices and improve service delivery.

Staff Management & Development:

- Lead, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary team including doctors, nurses, midwives, and support staff.

- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations.

- Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Quality Assurance & Patient Experience:

- Monitor patient satisfaction and address concerns or complaints effectively.

- Implement quality improvement initiatives and audits.

- Ensure proper infection control and emergency preparedness protocols.

Collaboration & Communication:

- Liaise with government bodies, NGOs, and community organizations to strengthen maternal and child health programs.

- Facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration across departments.

- Prepare and present reports to hospital leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

- Education: MBBS with specialization in Pediatrics, Obstetrics, or Hospital Administration. Master's in Healthcare/Hospital Management is a plus.

- Experience: Minimum 7-10 years of relevant clinical and managerial experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role in a maternal and child healthcare setting.

- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and decision-making skills. Proficient in healthcare systems, EMRs, and quality assurance protocols.
