
About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Assistant Manager - Sales to support the sales team in driving revenue growth, managing client relationships, and achieving sales targets.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in coordinating sales activities, mentoring team members, and contributing to strategic sales planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and executing sales strategies to achieve organizational revenue goals.
- Manage and support the sales team in daily activities, including lead generation, prospecting, and closing deals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management.
- Identify new business opportunities and participate in business development activities.
- Coordinate with marketing and product teams to align sales campaigns and promotional activities.
- Assist in training, mentoring, and motivating sales team members to improve their performance.
- Handle customer queries, negotiations, and contract discussions as required.
- Participate in sales meetings, presentations, and trade shows to represent the company and generate leads.
- Ensure timely follow-up on sales leads and maintain CRM data accuracy.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's/master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 4-5 years of experience in sales, preferably in a similar or assistant managerial role.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a sales team effectively.
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Customer-focused with strong problem-solving skills
