JOB TITLE Deputy Manager/ Manager- Operations


LOCATION Kolkata and Bhubaneswar


DEPARTMENT Inspection Services


REPORTING TO Profit Centre Head Kolkata Region


EXPERIENCE 15+ years relevant experience preferred


QUALIFICATION B.E. (Mechanical Engineering)


JOB RESPONSIBILITY


- Operations management and achieving client satisfaction and business goals according to TUV India strategy for the Profit Centre.


- Allocation of inspectors and technical guidance and problem solving.


- Contribute to the P & L of the respective Profit Centre.


- To ensure adequate cash flow for the respective business segment and keep the outstanding below 45 days.


- To have monthly outstanding receivable review with HO / CFO and should be responsible for collection of outstanding for their product line.


- To ensure the pending order data is reviewed for their product line so as to have accurate information on orders in hand.


- To ensure proper MIS reporting for their products.


- Responsible for quality requirements applicable for the relevant services


- Ensure compliance to all systems and procedures of TUV India and meet all the accreditation guidelines.


- Disciplinary action if needed against any employee and bring it to Cluster Head for further decision.


- Appraisal and promotion for their assigned employees of PC and submit to Cluster Head for his approval.


- Budget preparation for the Profit Centre in consultation with respective Cluster Head and CFO as per the broader guidelines and growth plan given by Managing Director.


- To assist when needed for making proposal to the customers with help of respective Marketing Executive and to consult Cluster Head for any proposal above Rs. 20 lacs. Risk assessment to be done in consultation with Cluster Head, Legal Advisor and CFO.


- To contribute for developing new services and/or proposal for new services. The proposal will be reviewed by Cluster Head & brought to Managing Director for final decision for go/no go.


- Responsible for planning and recruitment of resources, experts and associates as per the need for their respective business segment along with HR and in consultation with respective Profit Centre Head. Managing Director will review the requirements and approve.
