Job Title: SAP FICO (Functional) Consultant

Position Overview:

- We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO (Financial Accounting and Controlling) functional Consultant to join our dynamic team.

- The ideal candidate should possess in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in implementation and support, with a strong understanding of financial business processes.

- This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, client and a commitment to delivering high quality solutions that meet business objectives.

Responsibilities:

- To manage & support financial modules within ERP systems like SAP, MS Dynamics, ERPNext.

- To analyse business processes and recommend improvements.

- To configure system settings to align with business requirements.

- To provide expertise in financial accounting, management accounting, and controlling.

- To lead and manage SAP FICO implementation projects, from requirements gathering to solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.

- To provide expert guidance and support in the implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of SAP FICO module, ensuring alignment with business requirements

- To conduct workshops or be a part of workshops to gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and technical design documents.

- To configure SAP FICO modules based on best practices and industry standards, ensuring optimal system performance and reliability.

- To collaborate closely with finance, accounting, and IT teams to identify process improvement opportunities and propose SAP solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

- To perform system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing to ensure solutions meet quality standards and are aligned with business expectations.

- To provide training and support to end-users during implementation and post-go-live phases, including preparing training materials and conducting user training sessions.

- To offer ongoing support and maintenance for financial systems.

- To perform as a subject matter expert (SME) for SAP FICO modules, providing guidance and support to junior consultants and stakeholders.

Requirements:

- Strong understanding of accounting & taxation principles, ERP systems, and business processes required.

- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, Finance, Business Administration, or related field/ Equivalent degree.

- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with proven experience in implementation and support (GL, AP, AR, AA, CO-CCA, CO-PCA, CO-PA, etc.).

- Experience in leading SAP FICO projects, including full-cycle implementations, enhancements, and support.

- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA project implementation experience is desirable.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

- SAP certifications in relevant modules would be a plus.

- Proficiency in MS Office Tools
