Job Summary:

The District Manager is a critical leadership role responsible for driving sales growth and operational excellence within the assigned district. You will lead a team of sales representatives, develop and implement strategic sales plans, and cultivate strong relationships with key clients. This role requires a dynamic individual with a proven track record in sales management, business development, and team leadership within the B2B sector.

Responsibilities:

Sales Leadership & Management:

- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets within the district.

- Team Management: Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team of sales representatives.

- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze sales performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.

- Sales Forecasting: Accurately forecast sales revenue and provide regular updates to senior management.

- Sales Process Optimization: Streamline sales processes and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

- Lead Generation & Conversion: Oversee lead generation activities and ensure effective conversion of leads into paying customers.

- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends. -

Business Development & Client Relationship Management:

- Key Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention. -

- Business Expansion: Identify and develop new business opportunities within the district.

- Client Acquisition: Proactively identify and target potential clients to expand the customer base.

- Negotiation & Closing: Effectively negotiate and close deals with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.

- Client Feedback: Gather and analyze client feedback to improve products and services.

Operational Management:

- Resource Allocation: Manage and allocate resources effectively to support sales operations.

- Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and submit regular sales reports and other relevant documentation.

- CRM Management: Utilize CRM software to track sales activities, manage client data, and generate reports.

- Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

- Training and Development: Organize and conduct training sessions for the sales team to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.

- Experience: Proven track record of success in sales management, business development, and account management, preferably within the B2B marketplace or sales industry.

Skills:

- Strong sales management and leadership skills.

- Excellent business development and account management abilities.

- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.

- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

- Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho CRM).
