Role Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development & Sales Manager to spearhead client acquisition and revenue growth for the organization. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the fintech landscape, specifically payment gateway solutions, digital payouts, and merchant needs. You will be responsible for generating leads, closing high-value deals, and nurturing strategic relationships with businesses and payment partners.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development & Client Acquisition
- Identify and target new business opportunities across industries (e.g., e-commerce, NBFCs, aggregators, apps, education, society, ERPs, travel, ed-tech, etc.).
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline through lead generation, cold outreach, referrals, and networking.
- Conduct market research to understand client needs and competitor positioning.
2. Fintech Product Sales
- Pitch and sell Touras' payment gateway, payout APIs, payment link solutions, and smart reconciliation tools, connected banking, verification suite and other products
- Conduct product demos and consultative meetings with CXOs, Directors, CFOs, and tech/product leads.
- Address technical and operational queries in collaboration with internal product/tech teams.
3. Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants, payment aggregators, banks, and partners.
- Serve as a trusted point of contact and ensure timely support and onboarding for clients.
4. Revenue & Target Achievement
- Own and deliver on monthly/quarterly sales targets and KPIs (GMV, revenue, merchant activations, etc.).
- Track and report sales metrics, pipeline movement, and closures to leadership.
- Maintain a strong pipeline and funnel with leads and data for closure
5. Strategic Thinking & Market Insight
- Stay up-to-date with fintech trends, regulatory changes (e.g., RBI guidelines), and evolving client needs.
- Provide market feedback to product and marketing teams to enhance offerings.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3-9 years of experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably in a fintech/payment solutions environment.
- Strong understanding of payment gateways, UPI, payouts, virtual accounts, KYCs, and merchant onboarding workflows.
- Proven track record in hunting and closing mid to large accounts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, result-driven, and able to work independently.
Nice to Have:
- Prior experience working with payment processors, NBFCs, banks, or fintech SaaS platforms.
- Network within the fintech, startup, or enterprise ecosystem.
