Job Brief:
- We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales team in achieving customer acquisition and revenue growth targets.
- The Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in crafting and executing sales strategies, maximizing the potential of the team, and ensuring our company remains competitive and innovative.
Sales Manager Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive business development plans, both short term and long term.
- Secure high-value deals with top-tier Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).
- Play a key role in establishing and expanding our market leadership through effective contributions to sales, business development, marketing, and key account management.
- Identify and create new business opportunities within assigned market areas while exploring new markets.
- Proficiently handle pre-sales and sales activities, including proposal drafting and client interactions.
- Generate revenue from existing clients and nurture customer relationships.
- Prepare commercial proposals and possess excellent negotiation skills.
- Manage and supervise the entire sales process, including quality assurance, solution presentations, negotiations, and handover to the account management team.
- Maintain a well-managed pipeline of prospective clients.
- Respond to tenders effectively and in a timely manner.
- Cultivate loyalty among corporate customers through various promotional initiatives.
- Ensure the collection team works closely with the finance team to facilitate timely and accurate invoicing, enabling timely and accurate fund collection.
- Recruit, select, orient, and train sales staff.
- Maintain and enhance the performance of the sales team by providing counselling and discipline as needed, as well as planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
- Stay up-to-date with industry knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing professional networks, and participating in professional societies.
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics & Telecommunication (E&TC), Instrumentation Engineering, or a related discipline required.
- MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Sales Manager in the Industrial Automation /Test & Measurement industry.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from planning to closure.
- Strong business acumen and industry expertise.
- Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in presentation skills.
- Competitive spirit and professionalism.
- Proficient with MS Office.
