Job Description - Head of Events (Offline & Online)

Role Overview:
We are seeking a Head of Events to lead the strategy and execution of offline and online events at Impacteers. This is a senior role focused on creating large-scale, impactful events-ranging from conferences, hackathons, and exhibitions to webinars and digital summits-that engage students, professionals, and industry leaders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in EdTech with B2C platform experience, excellent partnership-building skills, and a proven track record of driving high-quality event outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Define and execute the vision for Impacteers' event ecosystem (offline, online, and hybrid).
- Align events with organizational priorities across Jobs, Mentorship, and Community.
- Innovate event formats based on audience needs and market trends.
College & Ecosystem Partnerships:
- Build and scale partnerships with colleges, universities, and student bodies.
- Forge alliances with corporates, industry associations, and ecosystem partners.
- Drive sponsorship opportunities and strengthen industry-academia engagement.
Execution & Operations Excellence:
- Lead end-to-end event delivery: planning, budgeting, vendor management, and logistics.
Ensure flawless execution of:
- Offline: conferences, summits, exhibitions, hackathons.
- Online: webinars, virtual summits, digital hackathons, networking series.
- Implement scalable and repeatable event models across regions.
Marketing & Brand Building:
- Partner with marketing teams to design impactful campaigns for visibility and participation.
- Position Impacteers as a leading brand for talent, mentorship, and community engagement.
- Drive sponsorship collaborations and event-led revenue opportunities.
Impact & KPIs:
- Track and report on registrations, participation, engagement, partnerships, and ROI.
- Prepare data-driven reports with insights and recommendations.
Requirements:
- 7-10 years of progressive experience in event strategy, management, and partnerships.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale offline & online events (conferences, hackathons, webinars, exhibitions).
- Strong experience in college and ecosystem partnerships.
- Must have EdTech and B2C platform experience.
- Background in sponsorship management and event-led revenue generation.
- Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency with event technology platforms (Zoom, Hopin, Airmeet, Webex, etc.).
- Excellent communication, team leadership, and presentation abilities.
