Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement effective regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets in alignment with organizational goals.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales representatives. Set clear objectives, monitor performance, and provide ongoing coaching and support.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the region to drive market penetration and increase customer base.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key dealers, distributors, and farmers to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Market Intelligence: Conduct market research to understand regional trends, competitor activities, pricing strategies, and product positioning. Provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Sales Monitoring & Reporting: Track sales performance against targets, prepare regular reports, and take corrective actions to bridge performance gaps.
- Compliance & Coordination: Ensure compliance with company policies and collaborate with cross-functional teams for smooth operational execution.
- Travel: Frequent travel within Andhra Pradesh to meet clients, partners, and team members.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 8 to 15 years in sales, with a strong focus on the agri input sector.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Agriculture is mandatory. A Master's degree in Agri Business Management is highly desirable.
- Sales Acumen: Proven track record in driving sales growth, achieving targets, and formulating successful sales strategies.
- Leadership: Strong team management and motivational skills with experience in handling diverse, geographically spread teams.
- Customer Focus: Excellent relationship-building skills and a deep understanding of customer needs in the agriculture domain.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in market research, competitive analysis, and sales forecasting.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and local languages.
- Mobility: Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the assigned region.
