About the Role:
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and data-driven Data Analyst with 23 years of experience in the travel and tourism industry.
- The ideal candidate should be proficient in Excel, Salesforce, and Power BI, and capable of converting raw data into meaningful insights that drive business decisions.
- This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, operations, and customer support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources such as Salesforce, booking engines, and internal systems.
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), customer behavior, and sales performance.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills for data modeling, forecasting, and reporting.
- Provide data-driven insights and trends to support business strategy, pricing models, and
market segmentation.
- Assist sales and marketing teams in lead scoring, performance tracking, and campaign analysis using Salesforce.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements through data analysis.
- Prepare regular business reports for leadership and stakeholders with clear visualizations and insights.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across platforms and tools.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 2 to 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in the travel, tourism, or hospitality industry.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros, etc.
- Proficient in Salesforce CRM for data extraction, analysis, and report generation.
- Working experience in Power BI or other data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik).
- Good understanding of business processes in the travel domain (e.g., bookings, packages, lead conversions).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present insights in a clear and concise manner.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of SQL or basic scripting for data manipulation.
- Experience working with APIs or third-party travel platforms (GDS, OTA tools, etc.
- Familiarity with customer lifecycle management and customer segmentation models.
