Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales Analyst with a strong academic background (MBA preferred) and at least 2 years of experience in sales analysis, reporting, and strategy. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and communication skills and will play a critical role in driving data-driven decision-making to optimize sales strategies and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Data Analysis: Analyze sales performance metrics, trends, and KPIs to provide insights and recommendations for improving sales effectiveness.
- Reporting: Prepare and present detailed sales reports, forecasts, and analysis to senior management, helping guide strategic decisions.
- Market Research: Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify opportunities, threats, and trends in the industry.
- Forecasting: Assist in the development of accurate sales forecasts and budgeting, providing analytical support for decision-making processes.
- Customer Insights: Collaborate with the marketing and customer success teams to analyze customer behavior, preferences, and buying patterns to better align sales strategies with customer needs.
- Sales Process Optimization: Work closely with the sales team to identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies.
- CRM Management: Maintain and optimize CRM systems, ensuring accurate data input and reporting.
- Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, finance, and product teams to align sales goals with broader business objectives.
- Trend Analysis: Identify new market trends, opportunities, and risks through data-driven analysis and provide actionable insights for the sales team.
- Ad-hoc Analysis: Provide real-time analysis and insights on various sales-related queries and projects as required.
Qualifications:
- Education: MBA from a reputed institution.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales analysis, data analysis, or related role.
Skills:
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong business acumen and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
