Job Title: Senior Manager - L&D


Reporting Manager: Director - HR

Division : Human Resources


Location: Bangalore

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

- Empowering employees' growth and developing their knowledge, skills, and capabilities to drive better business performance.

- To foster employee growth, enhance skills and ultimately drive both individual and organisational success.

- Upskilling and reskilling employees to enable them to take on new roles in the organization and perform their duties better.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Identify training from competency mapping, individual development plans, and performance appraisal gaps etc.

- Assess the development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities.

- Developing learning strategy and learning objectives basis the business plan, preparing the learning plan and annual learning calendar with desired no. of man-days for workforce.

- Work with senior HR leaders and Business leaders to develop and implement an organization-wide learning strategy.

- Developing the learning vision and strategies in line with business goals, developing and implementing learning programs that are aligned with the organization's objectives.

- Designing and delivering impactful learning interventions while implementing robust evaluation frameworks, ensuring the effectiveness of L&D initiatives.

- Drive leadership development and individual development interventions across the organization.

- Drive a skill-focused learning approach to develop optimum level of learning programs, bridge competency gaps and maintain healthy training ROI.

- Implement learning best practices across the organization.

- Partner with both internal and external stakeholders (Business Heads/External consultants) to drive end to end processes of L&D.

- Develop and implement consistent data-based methods & metrics to measure the effectiveness of learning interventions.

- Execute developmental plans for all high potential talent.

- Maintaining training budgets and relationships with knowledge partners.

KEY INTERFACES:

- INTERNAL: Business Leaders, Functional Leaders, HR Leaders.

- EXTERNAL: Vendor Partners.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: 14-18 years of experience post MBA, Specializing in L&D

Must Have:

- Experience in handling online learning platforms.

- Strong analytical and business bent of mind.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with an empathetic approach to building relationships at all levels of the organization based on trust and transparency.

- Self-driven, energetic and comfortable with ambiguity.

- Familiarity and comfort working with cross-functional teams across levels.
