Oracle Fusion HCM Techno-Functional Consultant (Payroll, Benefits)

Experience: 7+ Years (Remote - India)

- As an Oracle Fusion HCM Techno-Functional Consultant specializing in Payroll and Benefits, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between technical capabilities and functional requirements.

- You will be responsible for the end-to-end implementation and optimization of Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM, focusing on robust payroll and benefits solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Requirements to Solution: Collaborate extensively with HR and business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate complex payroll and benefits requirements into robust techno-functional designs within Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud.

- Configuration & Implementation: Lead the configuration and implementation of Oracle Fusion HCM Payroll and Benefits modules, including legislative data groups, payroll flows, elements, rules, benefits programs, plans, eligibility, and life events.

- Technical Development: Utilize various Oracle HCM Cloud technical tools for data loading, integration, and reporting, including HCM Data Loader (HDL), HCM Spreadsheet Data Loader (HSDL), BI Publisher, Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI), Fast Formulas, and File Based Loader (FBL).

- Customization & Extension: Develop and implement customizations, extensions, and integrations as needed, ensuring they align with Oracle Cloud best practices and are upgrade-friendly.

- Testing & Quality Assurance: Design and execute comprehensive testing strategies (unit, integration, parallel payroll runs, UAT) to ensure the accuracy and integrity of payroll calculations and benefits administration.

- Troubleshooting & Support: Provide expert-level techno-functional support, troubleshoot complex issues related to payroll processing, benefits enrollment, system performance, and data discrepancies.

- Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization within Fusion HCM Payroll and Benefits to improve efficiency and user experience.

- Documentation & Training: Create detailed techno-functional design documents, configuration guides, and provide comprehensive training to key users and support teams.

- Stay Current: Keep abreast of the latest Oracle Fusion HCM releases, features, and regulatory updates relevant to Payroll and Benefits.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Strong techno-functional experience with Oracle Fusion HCM Payroll and Benefits modules, with a proven track record of successful Cloud implementations.

- Expertise in HCM Cloud technical tools: HDL, HSDL, BI Publisher, OTBI, Fast Formulas, and FBL.

- In-depth understanding of payroll processes (e. , gross-to-net, tax calculations, deductions) and benefits administration (e. , open enrollment, life events, reporting).

- Familiarity with global or specific regional payroll and benefits compliance requirements (especially India).

- Ability to analyze complex technical and functional issues and propose effective, scalable solutions.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences and vice-versa.
