Customer Facing Technical Consultant.
(AI/Cloud/SaaS Focus).
Location: Remote- | Global (Time zone overlap required).
Who You Are:
You're a technically fluent consultant who thrives at the intersection of customer relationships, emerging tech, and solution development.
You're not necessarily a developer, but you understand software, cloud, AI/ML, and modern product development.
You can dive into a discovery call with a CFO, architect a solution with a product lead, explain LLM model differences to a CTO, and turn it all into a clear SOW.
You're naturally curious, sharp in communication, well versed in SaaS, cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure), AI/LLM ecosystems, and understand both the strategic and tactical layers of delivering technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead technical discovery sessions with customers and internal teams.
- Translate ambiguous business goals into structured solutions, process flows, and implementation plans.
- Draft Statements of Work (SOWs), including scope, effort estimation, timelines, and delivery methodology.
- Engage across CxO, product, and engineering levels to align stakeholders and articulate tradeoffs.
- Design and recommend solutions leveraging cloud platforms, SaaS best practices, and modern AI tools.
- Track AI ecosystem evolution: understand GenAI, LLMs (e.g, Mistral, Claude, Gemini, OpenAI), fine tuning vs. RAG, embeddings, etc.
- Define execution process and handoffs between discovery, delivery, and implementation.
- Build trust with clients as a technical thought partner, not just a delivery contact.
What You Bring:
- Experience in a customer facing technical role (Solution Architect, TAM, Consultant, Presales, Product, or Technical Program Manager).
- Exposure to AI/ML tools, foundational models, vector databases, agents, cloud native AI stack.
- Solid grasp of cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, and/or AWS) and architectural patterns.
- Ability to estimate work, outline delivery plans, and articulate tradeoffs in scope vs effort.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills comfortable with executive level presentations.
- Experience working with SaaS, APIs, microservices, integrations, Agile methodologies.
- Deep curiosity about tech trends, AI capabilities, and ability to quickly adapt to new tools.
- Not mandatory, but a plus: coding background, LLM development familiarity, or AI workflow building.
Nice to Have:
- Prior experience at a startup or fast-paced consulting environment.
- Experience working across multiple industries like finance, energy, SaaS, or analytics.
- Familiarity with RAG pipelines, fine-tuning, embeddings, LangChain, LlamaIndex, etc.
- Knows how to run technical workshops, client onboarding sessions, and prototype reviews.
