
Key Responsibilities
Design Strategy & Leadership
- Define and drive the creative vision across projects, aligning design outputs with business goals, brand identity, and digital strategy.
- Set high standards for design quality, ensuring all outputs reflect creative excellence and usability best practices.
Team Management & Mentorship
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of designers by providing clear direction, constructive feedback, and career development guidance.
- Foster a collaborative, innovative, and accountable design culture that encourages continuous learning and growth.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as a key design liaison in client meetings, understanding business objectives and translating them into compelling visual experiences.
- Communicate design rationale, defend creative choices, and incorporate feedback effectively to deliver high-impact solutions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with marketing, content, and technology teams to ensure cohesive and consistent brand messaging across all digital touchpoints.
- Work closely with project managers to scope design deliverables, allocate resources, and ensure timely execution.
Creative Execution & Oversight
- Lead the creation and refinement of digital assets including websites, social media creatives, email templates, banner ads, and landing pages.
- Oversee end-to-end design production, ensuring quality control and brand consistency across all outputs.
Innovation & Trend Leadership
- Stay ahead of industry trends, tools, and design methodologies; introduce innovative techniques and technologies to elevate creative output.
- Champion best practices in UI/UX, responsive design, and accessibility standards.
Operational Excellence
- Manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and within scope.
- Drive efficiency and process improvements within the design function for better output and collaboration.
Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's/master's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digital Media, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
Experience
- 4-6 years of professional experience in digital design, with at least 2 years in a creative leadership or team lead role.
- Prior experience in an agency or fast-paced digital marketing environment is preferred.
Technical Proficiency
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, After Effects).
- Proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, InVision, Zeplin, etc.).
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, responsive design, typography, and layout systems.
