Job Summary:
We are seeking an Inside Sales Team Leader to lead a team of 10-12 sales representatives in a dynamic B2C sales environment, with a preference for candidates with experience in the EdTech sector. This role will focus on driving sales growth, optimizing team performance, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction within the EdTech industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2C sales, preferably within EdTech, and a proven ability to lead and motivate a sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Management:
Lead and manage a team of 10-12 Inside Sales Representatives, fostering a high-performance sales culture.
Set clear, achievable sales targets and ensure team members understand the goals and how to reach them.
Conduct regular performance reviews and one-on-one meetings to provide feedback, coaching, and development opportunities.
Monitor team performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Motivate and inspire the team to exceed sales targets, driving both individual and team success.
Sales Strategy & Execution:
Develop and implement B2C sales strategies tailored to the EdTech market to drive new customer acquisition and revenue growth.
Create and optimize sales scripts, presentations, and outreach strategies for effective engagement with potential customers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Product, Customer Success) to ensure alignment on sales campaigns and product offerings.
Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and customer retention to maximize revenue from existing accounts.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
Track key sales metrics (e.g., lead conversion, pipeline progression, revenue generation) and use this data to inform team strategies.
Provide detailed sales forecasts and regular performance reports to senior management.
Use CRM tools to manage sales activities, ensuring accurate tracking of customer interactions and sales data.
Key Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in B2C sales, with a proven track record of managing and leading sales teams.
EdTech experience preferred, or a strong understanding of the EdTech market and customer needs.
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team.
Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales analytics platforms.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
Results-oriented with a focus on exceeding sales goals and improving team performance.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
