Job Purpose:
Responsible for procuring services at the right cost and quality, while contributing to cost savings and fostering effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Job Description:
- Maintain the Contract Expiry Calendar and ensure timely renewal of service contracts before expiry.
- Utilize e-procurement and digital tools such as RFQ platforms and Reverse Auctions.
- Evaluate tender responses based on Safety, Health & Environment (SHE), Quality, and Commercials.
- Manage vendor relationships, including feedback, evaluation, and ensuring GST compliance.
- Identify and develop new suppliers to support cost reduction initiatives and introduction of new technologies.
- Prepare MIS reports, analyze market dynamics, and provide forecasts.
- Review and follow up on pending PR reports.
- Ensure adherence to Purchase Guidelines and Code of Conduct (COC).
- Coordinate with the Finance team to process payments and address related grievances or issues.
- Review and renew General Purchase contracts (e.g., Airlines, Hotels, Forex services).
Manage Responsible Purchasing and Sustainability Audits, including:
- ECOVADIS/SMETA audits
- Annual Vendor Evaluations
- Supplier Charter sign-offs
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualification: Engineering or MBA with good academics
Min 6-8 years of Purchase function experience in SERVICES
Working experience in manufacturing industry
