Account Manager - IT
Role Description:
- The Account Manager will be responsible for managing client accounts, developing relationships, understanding client needs, and proposing solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers within assigned accounts.
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts.
- Conduct regular client meetings and business reviews to understand their evolving needs and challenges.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all client inquiries and concerns.
- Drive revenue growth within assigned accounts through strategic account planning and execution.
- Identify and qualify new sales opportunities within existing accounts.
- Develop and present compelling proposals and presentations to clients.
- Negotiate and close deals with clients.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
- Monitor industry trends and competitive landscapes to inform account strategies.
- Effectively map and engage with key stakeholders within client organizations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Develop and execute account plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Accurately forecast sales revenue and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by proactively addressing client concerns and exceeding expectations.
- Proactively identify and resolve potential issues before they impact client relationships.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a client-facing role, with a strong focus on account management.
- Proven track record of success in managing and growing large accounts.
- Experience in the IT services industry (preferred in a service-based company).
- Experience in sales and providing solutions based on customer needs (IT).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels.
- Excellent organizational skills.
