Role Overview:

The Talent Systems Delivery Lead acts as a bridge between product strategy, development, and operationalization. This role is responsible for managing the product backlog, service performance, sprint and capacity planning, and ensuring high-quality delivery across talent-related systems. The individual will work closely with Product Owners, Service Delivery Leads, and technology teams to drive improvements, implement governance frameworks, and enhance employee and stakeholder experience across Recruitment, Talent, Learning, DE&I, and Skills systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Service Delivery & Governance:

- Manage service delivery across Talent Management, Learning, and Recruitment systems and vendors.

- Implement agile practices including JIRA discipline, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

- Prioritize backlog in alignment with stakeholder requirements and team capacity.

- Drive measurable improvements using KPIs, ensuring best practices in service delivery.

- Analyze vendor roadmap enhancements and provide recommendations to stakeholders.

- Ensure effective management of incidents, escalations, and post-incident reviews.

- Act as an advocate for Talent tools and represent the team in key forums.

Performance & Quality Management:

- Provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders on performance and product delivery.

- Lead vendor reviews, RFI/RFP processes, risk assessments, and audits.

- Ensure suppliers meet high performance standards and SLAs.

- Interpret complex business issues and translate them into functional and technical solutions.

People & Project Management:

- Implement cross-skilling, mentoring, and contingency planning for team members.

- Support project planning, forecasting, and scope definition in alignment with technology teams.

- Ensure smooth transition of system development activities into BAU support.

Experience & Qualifications:

- Practical service delivery experience with core HR systems (preferably exposure to Cornerstone, Workday, Gloat).

- Strong experience in vendor management and third-party service performance.

- Knowledge of escalation procedures, incident management, and service delivery disciplines.

- Proficiency in JIRA and agile methodologies.

- Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills.

- Understanding of integration designs and system processes.

- Experience managing audits, test cycles, and efficiency improvements.

- Ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
